Doug Ashy Building Materials has an immediate opening for an INSIDE SALES PERSON at our BREAUX BRIDGE store location. We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for generating inside sales and maintaining product knowledge.
• Complete sale by following the sales process from greeting customer to closing of the sale.
• Assist customers with selecting the right products to meet their needs and resolve any customer issues as they arise.
• Take customer orders and estimate amount of product needed for jobs.
• Maintain stock and monitor inventory.
Required qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of retail and contractor sales of hardware and building materials.
• Must have computer and basic math skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Detailed oriented and must possess organizational skills.
• Ability to work half day every other Saturday.
• High School diploma or equivalent
